Seasonal Position in Boutique Garden Store with Outside Bartending
Seasonal position: July 2017 through early January 2018
Hours vary, depending on business needs
Must be available to work a flexible schedule - seven days/week, including evenings, weekends and some holidays

This part-time retail position is responsible for providing impeccable customer service to our guests. Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and professional. Prior retail experience is a must. Ideal candidates will have bartending experience, retail experience in a boutique environment, have merchandising, display, receiving, inventory and POS experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Candidates must be willing to work outside at bars throughout the Garden. Museum retail experience is a plus!
Position Requirements:
MINIMUM: Must have at least a high school degree and one year of relevant experience.
PREFERRED: At least an associate's degree and over one year of relevant retail experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and some holidays is required
- Advanced computer skills, including working with a database is required
- Experience in cash register operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, change oriented environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to deal with problems and questions in a timely, courteous and professional manner
- Must be willing to serve all of our guests equally regardless of their age, disability, national origin, religious belief, race/color, gender identity and/or sexual orientation.
- Must be willing to wear a uniform and work outside in various weather conditions, depending on business needs.
